Go to "Recipes" for an unusual and delicious dish created to accompany Forty Acres and a Soggy Grave . As usual the recipe was concocted by my friend Alice Green..
My publisher has named Forty Acres and a Soggy Grave the featured book of the month. To celebrate today's long-awaited official launch, Overmountain is offering 25% off the list price. Go The Overmountain Press website and click to order.
For those of you who have been wondering about the new book and why you haven't seen it, let me clear up the confusion. It is in print and you can order directly from my publisher, The Overmountain Press. The confusion about availability was caused by the fact that I had asked my publisher to rush and get the book out in time for Malice Domestic because I was on a panel there. They did, and I announced that the book was available. However, my publisher decided to go with a later official release date (July 26, 2011) to allow for getting the book into the distribution system and listed with wholesalers. The book will be available from all of the usual sources: directly from the publisher and from both brick-and-mortar, and online bookstores.
Forty Acres and Soggy Grave debuted this weekend at Malice Domestic. My publisher rushed to get it out in time for the conference, so it is going to be another couple of weeks before the book is fully in the system. However, if you want a copy right now . . .
